Wouldn’t sways help more with that? Also - where did you get your autox numbers, and are they removeable vinyl or magnetic? :-D

Yes and no. It will help through the fast transistions, but shocks will get rid of the float near the top of the damper range. The mustang has a weird float before settling in to the actual shock, which is reasonably stiff. Per class rules, i can only change one sway bar. And the stock sways are pretty big, the only thing really gained by changing them is the ability to modify the balance slightly.

The numbers are magnetic(which are great for autocross, but may not stay on at a high speed hpde event fyi). I got them from-

Yeah. I guess its not too bad for a big boat with stock suspension, but it has decent yaw(you can see that in the rear 3/4 picture above) as soon as you add sticky rubber(which it has).

Ah - didn’t realize the class limitation. I think I’m allowed to change both in STX, but I’ve left mine OEM for now. Thanks for the recommendation on the numbers! I actually went ahead and ordered a set.

Yup. Only the street classes have the one swaybar limitation. Stx..what do you drive?..Frs/Brz?

Just that little bit makes it way more fun on back roads though! At least that’s what I tell my self to save me buying stiffer Springs

That easy of a guess, eh? There are lots of us in STX. I’ve been having a time chasing a very well-prepped E36.

I’m in the Southeast, but am only really getting started right now. My schedule has only allowed three events so far this season, and I hope to get into at least three more before winter. Getting married is awesome, but a time crunch!

I hear that man. I have been really trying to hit all the events this season but have missed a few lately. Damn responsibilities!
